Soggy worn drivers seat bolster and new modified ram bushes.

Unread post by handyman »

As all the Activas I have or have owned suffer from this heinous defect, I have decided to get some re-inforced bolsters made up, with a bit of different padding around the seat frame that causes the bolster to wear.

To this end, does anybody want to join me and buy a new 'bit of foam'? I would be interested in knowing possible numbers required so I can entice my supplier to millionairedom.

I may even be able to offer a fitting service for those less able or with deeper pockets.

My second production run of modified ram bushes will be ready in January. I will post up a website where you can buy them from shortly. There are some other service items posted there to resolve leaking problems with the rams.

That's brilliant handyman :D I've not seen a fabric-seated Activa without collapsed bolsters so you can expect a great response to that.

Of no interest to me personally as mine's leather and they don't seem to suffer so badly...

Are those ram bushes made of PTFE? Be interested to see your site when it's ready and always interested in any fixes for leaky rams :D
