Activa Engine for sale

Unread post by hattershaun »

Hi Folks,

Having converted my Activa to a 3.0i V6, I now have a spare 2.0 TCT engine, gearbox and a few other parts too.

So, the 2.0 TCT engine is for sale.
It's covered 62,000 miles from new, with full service history.
The engine oil was changed 300 miles ago.
The car is from Nov 1999, so a late series 2 car.
I'd be happy to sell as a single lot the engine, gearbox, ECU, wiring harness etc, so that someone can convert their car.
I'd also be happy to split the gearbox & sell separately.
The clutch has only covered a few thousand miles.

I bought the car last year from an English couple who had retired to the French Alps. I collected it on the way back from the ICCCR in Rome and it drove back beautifully.
In total I drove this engine 1300 miles before removing from my car and it drove exactly as it should with plenty of power, not using any oil/water etc.
If you're interested please contact me for more details.

Damn - too slow - would love just the engine if Gareth is chasing other bits?
I too would love to hear about the v6 conversion - IIRC manual per chance?

Sold! Having the lot in the end. Mine needs clutch and possibly turbo assembly so this came up at the right time even though I will get bollocked for it by her indoors!

Well you can always break your bits apart and means you can uprate the turbo a bit while its easy to get to :) maybe time to invest in one of those oil coolers as well to let the rest of us know if they are worth it on the activa :)
