Buy it now for £200!! Buy to save and fix rather than dismantle!!
I really want it but mustn't - I have too many already...

No, cars are very very rarely any sort of investment, which is kind of the point i was trying to make. Though ive got to say it didnt come out like that did itandmcit wrote:
But value isn't actually the point - are you thinking of one as some kind of
investment? Cars are a minefield in this respect so instead you should see
this as the fantastic opportunity to save an Activa as one of the biggest
Citroen bargains of recent times for a car that is truly rare and able to
deliver the goods on top of the concept and marketing hype! They're not
going to be cheap to put things right or run but by god you'll enjoy driving
one.
To be fair I'm sure you're saying the same thing I've said in my earlier replyCitroenmad wrote:The problem with Activas is that you rarely see any fetch a reasonable
amount, by that i mean more than a few hundred pounds. So buying any of
them and having to do things too it would really only be possible if you plan
to have the car for a few years and enjoy it. As most will no doubt cost
more to get going again than they are worth at the moment.
Let's face it, the values are on rock bottom as with those of Xm's so thereCitroenmad wrote:Can anyone see their values increasing in the future?
Id like to think so but im not so sure if they will, they appear to be often for
sale with issues or getting broken, i just wonder how long this can go on for,
they will surely either die out or increase in value.
