I'm looking for my old car!

Unread post by pugmadnath »

Hi all,

I'm new to the forum and I'm looking for my old car!

It was a dark blue Activa with 17" 8 spoke alloys, M3 style exhausts and around 240bhp!

The reg plate is N579 YBL.

I just want to know if it's still alive :(

Cheers guys :)

Vehicle Status Unlicensed
Vehicle Colour BLUE

That's odd because I checked the DVLA website earlier this year and it showed up as licenced :(

What a shame :( I loved that car!

Whats more, it had a £4000 engine in it!! :(

I will have another one, one day :)

Money is the only factor unfortunately!

I've just got my track car finished (well...sort of...projects are never really finished!) so I need some money to play with that!

It's been a year in the making so needs some abuse now :D

Be quick, the good ones are getting a bit thin on the ground nowadays :(

My Activa (and V6) are two cars I'll never part with. I've only ever sold one Activa and that was to straight away buy another one

The big trouble with Activas is they can get very expensive to put right and this can put some people off and either scrap the car or ebay it into the hands of erm, an owner of certain other PSA cars for purposes of engine transplants.

I consider a grand sopent on making an Activa good again is money extremely well spent...

Certainly is - I have spent more than that on my tin snail this year with very little to show for it. I keep being tempted by an Activa or V6 - a V6 Activa Estate would be irresistible 8)
