5th Gear New S class road test

Unread post by citroenxm »

5th Gear have road tested the new Merc S class - and I picked up on an AMAZING new feature fitted to the car as an OPTION!!

Body roll control system!

GASP! I hear - anyone want to guess what it is and how it works??? YUP, close, but not quite...

It DOES use 4 hydraulic Rams to stableise the body....... now - were have we heard about that system before, NOT as an option???

Behind a bit arent they?? Or is Citroen too FAR ahead??

Paul

PS: It was an OK car, but no were as nice as the Early 80's S Class

Oh great, they obviously spotted Juliet in the carpark at work and stole the idea!
I have to agree about the looks, Mercs haven't looked good for a very long time.

Im really suprised Citroen didn't implement the Activa suspension on the SM considering the DS Activa prototype. Along with its hydraulic window washers and leccy windows

There was an SM Activa prototype. I did see a little bit on it somewhere...
