Be careful most of Lexia interfaces from China / Ebay have problems with CAN communication. You can see this on C4 ( full CAN ) ... interface can't talk with this car at all.

If you read the listings, it does say "...can do almost all..." meaning it's not quite as good as the originals.

Hello from Sweden. My first post here.

I have a Chinese Lexia. I seems to do what it is supposed to do, but today I ran into trouble.
The eco-mode don't work in my C5, and I took some time to look into it today. I found out that the timeout was set to a very large number. I change it to 30mins, but when I tried to program that, the Lexia asked for a "access code". Where do i find that?
I have changed a lot of things my car, but never been asked for any code before.
I have search with Google but didn't find anything useful.

I hope you understand my English... :D

Thanks, i'll try that tomorrow.
I got another tip at a swedish forum, that the code should be written inside the service book.
In my book there is a "OPB" number, perhaps I should try that too?

Success! The second code did work. Thank you Luc.

I changed the timeout to 30, but the car was going into Eco-mode immediately I switch on the ignition.
The parameter should be minutes, but it seems to be 1/10 of a second.
I reset to original time, and everything is back to normal. I'll try to find a number that works later....

Hi All

Anyone got details of the Lexia 2 pin cable for the early Citroen cars such as the Mk1 XM.
I want to get one of these if I can when I order my Chiese Lexia. That is unless someone has a link to the wiring details and it is easy to make one up.

Yes I have it's two boards piggy backed one board, looks like it has just got buffering stuff on it and has the "car" connector on it the other has some logic which includes a USB I/F must say that I didn't look to closely into which microcontroller was being used and I don't have the time / equipment / inclination to delve into the microcode to find out if it's readable or not. At the end of the day with apparently reasonable Chines clones complete with connectors being available for circa £250.00 is it really worth the effort?

And that may well be true of a genuine ACTIA supplied unit.
I purchased mine a secondhand ACTIA manufactured (or supplied at least) from a guy that used this thing full time. He told me that he was selling it because it wouldn't read the latest generation PSA cars he had had to buy a new unit which he said had cost him close to 1K pounds.

I've just bought a Chinese clone, seems a decent bit of kit and let's face it, my recently installed Gigabyte motherboard has "Made in China" on it.

Problem is, the kit comes with a main unit, connecting leads to the laptop and a connection lead to an OBD2 plug (actually a J1962 plug).

Unfortunately, both my XMs have diagnostic plugs that look like this:

Does the Xantia have the same plug? If so, where do I buy a matching socket? And if the Xantia doesn't, where do I buy a matching socket???

Surely Citroen didn't design a special diagnostic plug just to confuse us? And what sort of perfidious French thought process stopped them from using a standard J1962 plug?

Mk1 Xantia's and all other PSA models up to around late 97 had the same socket after which they changed over to the EOBD version. Other than buying the plug from Actia or one of the Lexia sellers from eBay one alternative may be to get hold of a Sykes ACR diagnostic lead and adapt it youself.

This is how my 'Lexia' was supplied. I was careful when buying to specify exactly what leads I expected.

...and how did you describe the XM plug? Is it a recognised design?
