Hi ,
When driving over a bump in the road , or uneven roads , I now notice a knocking noise from the front of the car .
Any ideas ?
Thanks in advance ,

They last longer if you take the clip off the rubber boot and pack them with grease.

Allen key to counter-hold the drop link balljoint studs (if they have the internal hexagons in the stud - cheap ones often have not) and suitable spanners to fit the nuts.

If the old links are well corroded and do not have the hexagons, you may well find you need to use an angle grinder on them.

A jack is sometimes handy to raise the anti-roll bar to meet the new drop link.

Anoter point with cheap drop links is often they don't come with new nuts and if you've had to angle grind the old ones off, then there is a problem.

A good tip to help the removal of the old nuts is to thoroughly wire-brush the exposed threads of the old drop-links and douse them in Plus-Gas. It really does help.
