V6 Activa musings

Bonjour a tous

IMHO is not now the time to buy a cheap V6 Exclusive, an equally cheap or cheaper Activa and make 1 mega motor out of the 2?

I've had my V6 converted Activa for about 2 years now and it still makes me grin every time I drive it.

I know of 2 other RHD Activas that have been converted to V6 power by the same garage that did mine but there may well be other conversions out there...

A few of us saw one of the other 2 RHD V6 converted Activas last Sunday at the CCC National!

I didn't make the CCC AR. Was the car at the rally an S1 or an S2?.

Mine was a W plate (though now French registered), with only 2 weeks between manufacture in March and registration in April 2000...by October 2000 the Activa had 1780 miles on it and had shed 40% of it's list price.

The previous owner replaced his then standard 2 litre Activa with a C6 HDi V6 Exclusive with TGV rear seats - quite a car. The car the Activa displaced when he bought it as an ex-demo model from Citroen was a rarissime RHD CX Prestige Turbo 2 that also now resides in France!

There was defiantly a mk1, red, currently owned by a couple of the guys from B&L autos.
Don't recall seeing a second one though, where was that Kev?

EDIT: By the way Mr Squid I've just captured the video from the National and noticed you taking a photo of me filming

Just shows how observant I was at the time
