Uk reg Activa in Dublin - €1150:

Image
68000mls

Very rare 150 bhp edition of the Xantia with Activa suspension. This is one of the best handling cars I've ever driven!

Has usual spec including alloys, electric windows, cd player etc etc

This example is clean inside and out but has a small dent on front wing.

Would suit enthusiast.

VRT is 720euro (not included)

South Dublin area
Very shiny steering wheel for a car with 68000 miles though... :-k

Can't make out the first word.

I've also just noticed the pictured of the hacked up interior with the rover TAPE deck!! serious WTF right there.

What the hell is "even-kneeled fusslessness"?

It seems as though they think it is an Activa

I know the answer to this riddle! :D Fella I work with used to have a late
s1 (Temptation IIRC) which had a very unsubtle genuine Ctroen tailgate
vinyl graphic running across the whole rear screen width in white with:

"Xantia (in swirly badge style script) - air conditioned luxury"

Guess it was all a big deal back then although I much prefer a sliding tilting
glass sunroof. Now there's barely ANY new car with a sunroof - check out
how much you need to pay extra to have one on a C6!! Bloody stupid!!
Well, at least this car has a sunroof as well as AC!

Smart enough looking car - just a shame that interior is looking tired
- I'd suggest it's very strong money for a car with frayed seats, distressed
dash and highish miles that'll most likely need a clutch sooner or later;
no mention is made of this or even a timing belt come to think of it - iffy
ABS light suggests MOT hassles too and there's the not inconsiderable
expense of two new decent tyres needed imminently.

Most Activae that sell for 400quid on ebay and get scrapped for their
engines are lucky to show 60k miles with mint interior/exterior too. :(

Wonder what offers get made...

At Least at this price the puggeriser bast*rds can't cull another one mind
so fair do's to this seller!!

Andrew

Indeed, for that sort of money, the interior would have me thinking "Not at that price". Rightly or wrongly perhaps, if I see a tired interior then it's likely the rest of the car will be tired and uncraed for too. However, if she's on the button mechanically and the body is good then perhaps. Knock £200 off and get a leather interior...

Andrew, I agree on sunroofs, as always. I love mine in my Activa and only wish my V6 and 2.1TD had one too...
