I have some questions to ask , My english is not well so please don't blame me for this problem.
Problem occured after I bring my Xantia 96 to check for 90000 KM. and replace rear arm bearing. My garage said that my front height corrector was leaked , front strut gaiter was teared. So I told him to replaced front strut gaiter and fixed front height corrector. After that if I park my car overnight or longer than 4 hr. when I start my car, front height will goto max. position and will not go down to normal position. I must change position from normal to max and max to normal several times , usually it take around 10-15 min , front height goto normal position.I try to bleed at delongtor for several times but it help nothing. I take my car back to my garage. He said that it may caused from incorrect setting of operating rod that control front height corrector and he fixed it but it help notting. So I goto another garage, the new man said that when fixed height corrector the old garage man may not mark the correct position of operating rod and he will try to fixed it again. But I wonder that if the cause is operating rod why it occur only when park the car for a long time after that it still in normal position all the time. If anyone in this community have some comments and suggest , please tell me how to manage this problem .
thank you very much

Hi monsak -
Your garage has made a mistake while they fitted the new height corrector [:(!]
You MUST explain that they are responsible for this - and you WILL not pay for this extra work caused by their bad workmanship.
There is nothing you can do yourself - as this problem is quite complicated - UNLESS you know how to adjust the height setting linkages and have the tools.
I even suspect the garage fitted the hydraulic pipes wrong on the height corrector [:0]
Try set the suspension height to the LOWEST possible height - what does the car do then ?
It's simply a warranty problem !
Think about it ! - you can NOT accept the car is malfunctioning after any repair work done at a professional garage.
Try explain them calmly & politely they have to correct the problem - at no extra cost. Do not get mad at them - as this will allways end up with shouting at each other.
If they resist their responsibility on such work - then you better get legal help.
