Xantia Sunroof Motor

I have a 95/6 16v Xantia.

The sunroof motor sounds really rough, even disengaged from the mechanism.

All the images I have seen of these, show the green cam disc, which interacts with the 3 x microswitches, in a different position to mine.

Mine has the green cam disc with its axis common to the actual drive cog, where the images I have seen show the green disc in a seperate position.

The mounting holes look in identical positions to mine.

Does anyone have any idea as to the compatibility between the 2 types.....ie, is it possible that there are different types between 95/96??

I don't know about compatability but there are three types of sunroof motor according to Citroën Service with changeover points from the original one then at RP 6763 and 7385.

My rp is 6925CJ, which fits into the middle type of the three.

I wonder if the 1st (easy to source) type, and the 2nd type are cross compatible. (part #'s 95 669 006 and 6651 23 respectively)
