Post by citronut »

i need to clear out a load of old tyres, done a google search for a company that recycle tyres in the east sussex area, the two i found dont seem to be there on a saterday,

i find companys reluctant to take waste tyres,

WOW! we just take them to the recycling centre and leave them there with the rest of the rubbish. Only contractors vans are charged after the first three trips.

How many are you taking say per week or so on?

In my area there are 4 recycling places and if you are only taking say 4-6 at a time you could maybe get away with it in your own car, expecially if its a bigger site and busy ish??

Even easier then, Take pictures of the good ones after a good wash if they are dusty/dirty and stick them on ebay, even if you get a quid for them as no reserve items it will cover yours costs and get rid of them with little work :)

If you're in the countryside you often find that farmers will take them off you for weighing down silage pit covers.
