renault grand espace service light

just had espace serviced but they have not reset service light anybody know how to reset it its a 1999 3.0 rxe auto any help appreciated

I had this problem on a 05 grand espace, I solved it by scrolling through to the appropriate service message and the holding the button in for a few seconds, similar to reseting the trip meter. don't know the arrangements on your car but hope this is useful.

With the ignition on, Press the end of the wiper stalk until miles to service appears on the dash screen.

Now, press and hold the mileage reset button on the instrument binnacle for more than 5 seconds, it will start to flash. Let go

This will reset your miles to service to the factorysetting and get rid of the flashing spanner !
