Just got hold of a 99/2000 (V reg) Scenic. Everything seems OK but there are a couple of things I'd like to fix.
First is the small panel which has the clock, right in the top centre of the dashboard, this is not working, no lights. Any pointers on this ? Is it just a bulb, and if so, how do I get to it.
Secondly is the gearchange. It's a five speed manual, and all the gears work fine, but there is quite slack play in the gearlever itself. Is there a kit to firm this up, or any other way of making it a bit more positive.
Finally, what grade oil does the engine use please. It's a 1998cc petrol engine.
Thanks for any ideas. I'm very mechanically minded, so any repairs won't normally be a problem to me.
