The "make to ground" door and boot contact switches on Activas and H-II equipped cars - are they part of the regular harness, or a secondary item? Just wondering.
Thanks, Adam.

Well, sort of. I am trying to piece together an Activa estate from the inside out.andmcit wrote:Do you want an Activa?
The wiring schematics posted by CJ don't tally with my interior harness, though. IC20, position D3, should be where I can verify these pieces. Instead there's another bunch of wires in there. No different listings for Activa or Hydractive harnesses in Service.Citroën either.
Can anybody offer some suggestions on this oddity?
Regards, Adam.

Sorry Adam, I've been meaning to reply to this for days
The diagrams I supplied you. Were they the MK1 or MK2? I have others so I'll look them out and see if they can clarify.
As far as I know, on the MK1 the normal plunger type door switches give the siganl to the Activa/HA ECU for the "door open" condition but the talgate has a separate little switch up in side the door mechanism.
The MK2 does not use the conventional plunger switches in the door shuts.
I'll consult the diagrams when I get home. Sorry for the delay Adam

Jim, thanks for getting back to me.
The diagrams were labelled (indicatively by yourself) as MkII but I started to reach that conclusion you refer to; it would seem the later cars - mine's RPO approx 08140 - used the intrinsic witching abilities of the door latch.
Only real haste was driven by a desire to put the front carpet back in next weekend, and not have to dig the wiring out again later!
Regards, Adam.

Hi Addo,
After so long, sorry
here's the real MKII SC/CAR wiring diagrams.

I have used the word "late" rather than MKII in the filenames to avoid linkage problems with the other ones I posted which as you so rightly say are MK1 disgrams, albeit from the 1998 MY...
