Problem with dash board lights

This should be in the Peugeot Forum.........But more likely to get an answer in here.

A mate has a intermittent problem with his dash board lights going on and off .

But now are permanantley off.

The car is a 2001Peugeot 206 gti.

Any help will be gratefull.

Check the dimmer rheostat. It sometimes goes a bit intermittent. Wiggle it and rotate it from high to low bringhtness and see if that provokes the problem.
