Strange Xantia find

Im really rather confused about this find on eBay - just take a look at the pictures on there and see if you can guess what im on about :lol:

Early bonnet on a P plater? Failed strut top/personal preferences?

No tailgate middle brake light? Just on the changeover point so could be an
early car registered in the P plate.

Could be an OK car though I don't like the mud splashes graphic detailing!
You're now going to say it's something fundamental that I've totally missed...

Yes, I see what you mean Kev...

It has a very early MK1 front-end (chevrons on the bonnet) and a fully mechanical diesel pump.

P is a bit late for the latter and very late for the former...

Either sitting in a dealers for a long time or has been in a frontal at some time and early MK1 bits used to repair or perhaps the owner, like me, likes the chevrons on the bonnet :D

It is an anti-sink though. Genuine chevrons on bonnet models are sinkers.

Well, I was never going to get that one - I try not to spend any time
near a Diesel engine...

I hope the handbrake is a good one, that's a very steep hill you have it parked on :D

A Cx would've already rolled away on a hill this steep relying soley on just
it's handbrake!! :roll:

My cars are usually so damned big it's the only way to get them to fit in the
camera viewfinder, diagonally!!
