Xantia Clock

Hi
Can anyone tell me if the LCD clock in a 2001 Xantia Hdi can be removed without taking the entire dash off? My one has got into the habit of resetting to zero every now and then. It sounds like a classic bad connection but how on earth can you get to it?

IIRC the whole trim plate needs to come off and to be able to get at it properly a few others things need to be removed.

you might be able to fudge it by getting the radio surround off and then the screws for the plate and trying to bend it out a bit but that risks it breaking.
