Stalk control .... does my Megane use CAN-BUS ?

Hi all, i'm a newby so be gentle.

We've just bought a 2008 Megane Dynamique 1.6 VVTi and I've ripped out the factory fitted head unit and swapped it for a JVC head unit. Easy done.

However, I've been trawling the web looking for a suitable adaptor interface that will allow us to use the steering wheel audio controls. After enquiring on one particular site I was asked the question does your car use the CAN-BUS interface (as that would dicate which adaptor to get) ? Shocked

Does anyone out there know how I can find this out.... i've called renault customer services and they didn't have a clue what I was on about !

Meganes from Jan 2007 onwards need the Autoleads PC911-X74 remote interface cable...
