Such an easy repair I wonder why the seller didn't bother.

I mean a bonnet and wing wouldn't be that expensive...

Seems to be a head-on damage, known to give severe structural damages/bends in the front bodywork.
At least a new subframe job to ensure correct tracking ...
And then there is a lot of work to make it a beauty again ...

... not so sure on the bargain deal.

Quite so Anders,

A Pug 205GTi (which is what it is, sans roof but with a bit of extra strenghtening) has all the structural integrity of a biscuit tin. They also suffer metal fatigue in their longitudinal chassis rails due to the hard suspension and a life of bouncing around British roads so a bit of structural damage is inevitable really. Rust in the front chassis rails, especially on the nearside is a known issue with all 205s and is quite hard to spot.

It is actually very overpriced although from the pictures it does look clean, even the cloth seat bolsters, a notorious wear spot, look reasonable.

It would make a good donor for a reshell.
