were is the diagnostic plug

Unread post by [email protected] »

hi all

just a query were is the diagnostic plug on my 99 scenic and what are the fault codes as the engine mangement light is on all the time,

the last owner told me that the engine cut out when it first came on and been on ever since although the the car is running ok.

ive since brought the car with the fault of which he informed me.

also the key fob does not work ive tried the digital camara trick and that prove,s ok but no remote locking which means i have to put a code in to start the car and get the immobiliser off

any ideas

thanks in advance

On a few Renaults I've looked at the diagnostic socket has been under the ashtray, it normally has a cover on the top to protect it from,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,ash.
