I know the new look ebay is totally rubbish and painful to use, but I'm
interested in knowing whether it'd be worth buying one of these to help
shorten a PITA job a bit, in an efficient and painless manner!?

Is there a position to mount this on say, a Xantia TD or 2.0i petrol?

Any good?

I bought the top one a while ago and found it to work well on (IIRC) a CT Turbo engine for removing the bottom pulley, just slip it into the slot, job done no messing, it kept the crank locked in position. Obviously you still have to mess around finding TDC with locking pins etc.

even though i have not as yet bought one, i agree with Richard the first one looks the beter one, but i dont know if it would be ok to use on the likes of a DUAL MASS FLYWHEEL, as i think you must not use the flywheel to lock the crank when the car has a D/M flywheel for releasing the crank pully bolt??????,

i might be wrong on this i usualy am
