Electric window shunt units

Unread post by acid drop »

Got a 92 Clio RT the left hand electric window has stopped working, done various checks and the wiring diagram shows a shunt unit in the circuit.
Does anyone know where the shunt units are located (one for each window circuit), Haynes manual doesn't tell me.

These are self-resettable thermo shunts inside the winder motors. You will not find anything accessible on the winder motors or the cabling.

It is more than likely a dead simple cable problem in the pillar-to-door bellow, a fuse or a relay that needs to be pressed home in its socket.
