Megane - remote locking doesn't work completely

Hi all! I'm new on forum and I have a question :)

I'm new owner of Megane '96 and I have a problem when locking the doors with remote controller. Remote controller locks all doors except driver's. I'd like to know if that's ok or not?

If anyone knows where could I get car's manual I'd be really grateful to him. I checked Renault home webpage but I didn't find it.

PS: I apologize for any mistakes in my English :)

Hi -

Of course all doors should lock by the central locking - either by remote or key - even in a Rain-old :wink:

To my best - this is not a specific, but very common, problem you are looking at : chafed or broken wires in the bellow leading to the drivers door.
Think about the abuse these wires have to take over the days and years ...
