Espace RDS radio

HI

My 2000 Espace radio doesn't display RDS anymore i.e. no station info. I can live with that when I'm driving locally but when we go on long trips the radio doesn't automatically retune to the strongest signal for Radio 1 or 2!

I have fitted a new aerial and had the front seat out and checked the connections etc on the radio unit itself.

Any ideas anyone?

I would think somebody has pushed a wrong button somewhere. Do you still have the handbook for it?

Yes I've been through the section of the manual that refers to the radio and I have pressed every button and combination of buttons imaginable!

Others have said that maybe it isn't an RDS radio but it certainly was when I first got the car three years ago.

It's a mystery!
