The switch is broken and I assume it must be a warning switch that the bonnet isn't locked down, but I can't find the little bugger on Citroen Service, and as I've never known it wasn't working, is it actually wired into something?
What's that switch for?

What's that switch for?
Was replacing the secondary bonnet release cable today as it was starting to look a bit tired and whilst cleaning up the latch plates I found a small micro switch attached to the drivers side one.

Thanks Richard, do you know if a normally open or normally closed type? I guess it must be normally open or the alarm wouldn't set.
My alarm has been playing up a bit but I put that down to the volumetric sensors as it's fine if you disable them.
