Hi, I have a fog light cover missing from the front bumper of my 1999 406 saloon. I was thinking I might get some fog lights to fill the holes, but I am curious as to whether the wires would be there already to allow me to wire them up straight away.
I can see a wire with two small connectors in the space where the hole in the bumper is but not sure if these are meant for the fog lights. Also, where would the switch wiring be? Would it be from the headlight/indicator stalk, or would there be a separate switch on the right near to the headlight level adjustment switch? if its the latter, would it be behind the blanking plug already?
Sorry for so many questions.
Thanks,
David.

The switch for the front fogs on mine is on the left hand indicator stalk.Turn once for front fogs, twice for front and rear fogs. Its quite posible that the wires you see are for fog lights. They usally use the same wiring loom for all cars, plug some fog lights into the loom, fit fuse, relay and stalk etc and they might work.I did this with my old 84 Cavalier SRI.Fitted some factory fogs, pluged in the pre wired loom, fitted fuse and switch and they worked.
