Are parts prices at all Citroen dealers the same or is it worth phoning round a few?

Yep; standard practice seems to be about 500% mark up on aftermarket stuff bought from independent suppliers.
Can't speak for over there, but heard a story today about someone (in the trade) being quoted A$1400 each for a part, bought it from an outside source in Europe, had 2 posted over and landed on his doorstep with all fees and taxes and postage paid, he still got change out of $600.

I'm after a series 2 front bumper chrome strip I think the part number is 7452 F4 for one for a car with headlamp washers. All the breakers yards I have spoken to want to sell the complete bumper amd will not sell the strip separately so I suspect it will have to be a trip to a dealer.
