205/309 GTI Automatic

Just wondering appart from the batch of automatic GTI's both 309 and 205 sold in the UK in 1992 (cancelled Japan order) - has this combination been sold in any other country?

We get the 205 Si in the auto out here and have only ever heard of one GTi in an auto which IIRC was a personal import.
Don't know Pug models all that well, but from what I can understand, we never got the 309 out here.
