ZX / Xsara / 306 rear subframe

Evening,
Can anyone post a link which can technically explain the workings of the rear subframe on the midsize PSA cars, there seems to be plenty of stuff on the suspension systems but not on the rear subframe stuff.

Thanks but I don't want to replace or maintain it, I just want to explain to a friend how it works with regard to steering & handling compared to other cars.

This actually applies to lowering a 306 but there a diagram of the complete rear suspension which you should find useful:
