Folding wing mirrors

Driving down Orford Road in Walthamstow today I saw a very nice white BX with fold-in wing mirrors; Unfortunately I didnt have time to stop and look as I was working, with the boss in my car........
The standard mirrors are very prone to being wiped out by passing dustcarts, kids, etc, so, is this your car? What are the mirrors off?? does anyone know..........

As I remember, the standard BX mirrors do fold, not all the way though.
I used to do it all the time due to living on a busy but fairly narrow road.
I know at the time, replacement drivers side mirrors were like rocking horse droppings.
