C5 front brakes

Anyone with experience on C5 front calipers ?

Does the piston screw in clockwise both sides - or is it opposite (lefthanded or ccw) on RHS front caliper ?

Also are these Bosch made calipers very far from the Xantia bendix made construction ?

Anders,

The only thing I know about C5 front brakes is that the pistons screw in opposite ways round. I don't, however, know which is which

I can then confirm its cw on LHS - and ccw on RHS.
- as I've just found out by mistake advising an owner it was cw on both sides

Thats one of my most fatal assumptions I've done since long.

It appears that the C5 brakes are german made by Bosch, which then explains the use of a leftgoing thread. Never seen that on french made parts.
