My daughter has a 1996 1.9D 306. When she takes the key out of the ignition it carries on running.
I understand that there is some solonoid that may have failed. Can somebody please name the device and it's location?
Thanks.

Its the fuel stop solonoid valve. Some £25-£35 at a diesel (not necessarily Peugeot) specialist. Needs only a spanner to wind out and replace.
The diesel specialist may even replace it while you wait. Only takes 5 minutes.
And off you go again happily, with just a few extra tries on the starter right after replacement of the valve.
