oil leaking from rear of engine!!!!!!

Oil is leaking from back of engine, smoking alot ,open to suggestions so i can communicate with the garage as am away from home and can not do this myself at mo. Any suggestions much appreciated. Cheers Dom.

Cant really say could be the head gasket leaking oil, camshaft oil seal, crank oil seal, rocker cover gasket. Depends where about it is on the back of the engine.

Agree with Citman.
Probably either the head gasket leaking oil down the back of the block, or a failed camseal (I would think without seeing it). If you're lucky then yes, its the rocker cover gasket.
A good steam clean then running the car should assist in finding the problem.

Is this the only leak or are they general, all over the engine. is the crankcase pressurised? - if so suspect piston rings etc - if not - dont.

Are you sure it's engine oil & not LHM??
I know they smell different but sometimes that's lost in the cocktail it picks up as it runs along a crossmember.
