The 2002 Xant I just bought comes with what looks like the base model radio. Its a small single DIN sized cassete/radio unit, but has steering wheel controls.
Is an upgrade possible? Something out of another Xant or a Peugeot? Is the protocol of the controls documented somewhere? Maybe I can hack it to work with another remote capable unit?
Could this radio have an aux input like the C4/5 units?
Side question: radio works, but I dont have the code in case I remove the battery. Are all Xantia radios codes? Any alternative ways to get the code if I have to?
thanks.

Here's the list of Autoleads adapter cables for the Xantia (apologies for the large size, but the text was unreadable otherwise):

I replaced my stock radio cassette with a Sony head unit. I stuck in an Autoleads PC99-09 remote interface cable and Bob's your uncle. The cables are about 30 quid in Halfrauds, but I was lucky enough to pick one up on ebay for a fiver. Happy days...
If you want to stick with an OEM radio, try it before you buy
