dear all, does any one know if an rev counter can be fitted to the top of the steering column, (as per the new mini) on an HDI picasso

Yes, Citroen sell one as an accessory.

Apparantly you cannot add a rev counter to new 2.0 HDI models.

I asked about a rev counter for my wifes new 2.0 HDi. Three dealers quoted me a price for it, none telling me it could not be fitted. However, what none of them could tell was whether it was a separate fixture or integral with the speedo display!!!!!
Don't you just love dealers!

According to the Citroen Accesorie Book I have, which is current, there are 2 rev counters listed:
9452 60 Xsara Picasso Petrol Rev Counter
9452 61 Xsara Picasso Diesel Rev Counter
Both are £110 inc VAT. The one I've seen on a 1.8 petrol was attached just behind the wheel in its own spherical pod.
