Jesper you must give us a bit more info on your car.

You have previously posted about a 306 and a ZX, but we cannot guess which Xantia you are asking about, I dont see anything in my bowl

Buildyear, Saloon/Estate, Model spec : LX/SX/VSX/Activa
Engine : diesel/petrol, turbo/not, 8V/16V, size
Suspension : Antisink/hydractive
Also its customary to inform the mileage for a judgement of possible known issues by wear.

You will be amazed by how many different pipes exists for a Xantia

Its a 2.0 16 break -99 with antisink but without hydractive or activa. it has run 170 000km

The pipe to/from the antisink sphere (but it is used as a brake accumulator for the rear) is a rigid pipe.

Sorry about the lack of information I took for granted (not very smart I admit) that that particular pipe was the same for all Xantias.

Genuine Citroen ones are very nicely made and fit beautifully. They are often surprisingly cheap as well.

Jesper, the problem was that there is both an antisink sphere and an anti sink valve and you didn't specify which.

Anders, I liked your original post.

Sorry, its the antisink sphere.

I plan to get copperpipping for that pipe since its a bit tight where it goes and the copper ones are more bendable.

I think that they are about 500mm long and they are in 4.5mm pipe.

Give Pleiades a call, they have them made up and can send you one in a jiffy bag, 01487 831239.

Slim.
