Lidl specials.... TOOLS!!!

Unread post by Kowalski »

Lidl have some tools coming in on special on Monday.

http://www.lidl.co.uk/uk/home.nsf/pages ... index.ar10

In particular they have a small socket set for £9.99, judging by the pictures the quality looks very like the 1/4" set I have, this is the really big bargain. £9.99 for the set

Ring spanners with an offset on them, its this type of spanner use for the difficult glowplug on XUDs £1.99 for the set of 6

Screwdrivers, a set of 7 £2.99.

There is also a large toolkit, but at £24.99 it isnt as inexpensive as some of the other items, ideal to go into the boot of the car, just so you've always got tools with you in a tidy container.

They all seem to be chrome vanadium, so the quality will be reasonable, they're not high tensile putty!

Hi... I used to think Lidl tools were very poor quality till I tried them and was pleasantly surprised. Okay, we're not talking Snap-on here -but not bad at all for what you are paying. This also goes for their electrical power tools too. ( I sussed this out when there were tradesmans vans half filling the car park waiting for the store to open !) They are certainly worth considering at this price. Best Wishes, Martin
I won't do that again

I have one of their digital micrometers- it was around £7 from Lidl, the identical one being knocked out by Sealey and Machine Mart for £40....and I do mean exactly the same product in the same box.

Mind you, their tea bags are AWFUL!!!!!
