front strut feed pipe seal

does anyone know if the top feed pipe on the front strut of the xantia vsx has a rubber seal? I have just dismantled mine and cant find the old one.

Nope, you're ok - there isn't a rubber seal - the large joint has a rounded
end that seats in normal hydraulic union style rather than the stepped with
a seal method of the usual Citroen joint.

Thanks for your help once again, I thought I'd lost the seal. Now to fit my new £104 strut top.
