Re: high level brake light
They come apart rather easily - too easily in fact as they have a habit of falling apartbasil wrote:How can I change the bulb/test for power on my high level brake light ?

Just undo the two bolts (10mm spanner from memory) and remove the whole unit, the wires are threaded through a hole in the back and once you remove it you can get to the spade connectors to disconnect it...
I don't know about where you live, but here in NZ if you have a high stop light that doesn't work its a failure...(but removing the light entirely will pass)

Had that, all 5 lamps out.
Took out the assembly, no signs of fault, reconnected, had come good.
The lot fell out since, and looks like it will stay like that, no MOT here.

I,ve looked at the suggested post but my light is not the same
There are two brackets which are glued onto the window then the light has two pivots that go into each bracket but I can not see how to undo anything
Any ideas
