Xantia central sphere

Xantia central sphere

Hi, everyone! Ihave heard, that it is possible replace outworn central (accum.) sphere with good one rear sphere. Can this be true? Any know that? :?:

DON'T do it.

Accumulator spheres all have an open neck, suspension spheres all have a damper in the neck. (When off the car one looks like a tube at the end (accumulator), the other is flat (suspension).

Except the centre sphere, but even thats not exactly the same.

Strange that in russian forums guys predicate that I`ll not see any difference in operation between both of those spheres!

That’s right !
You won’t ‘see’ the difference.
You will ‘feel’ the difference though, when the ‘dampered’ accumulator affects the brakes. :shock:
