Glad the dismal message has gone away.

Can someone explain what happened the last 2 days?

I was starting to get worried that we'd had to find another Site for our woes with our Citroens.

Who's financing this site? I don't know about anyone else but I'd be happy to pay towards the hosting etc.

At least everything is back to normal. And just like others I went back to GSF/Andyspares and re-registered

(thats full circle then = Andyspares, here, back to Andyspares and now back here again).

I just kept looking at the Aussiefrogs and GSF forums and eventually an explanation turned up on GSF. When the forum broke away from GSF and was absent for a while I found the explanation on Aussiefrogs.

I was also surprised when the French Car Forum vanished, although at the same time the BX forum also shut down.

So I searched around for information, to find out what had happened.

I agree, I was thinking of where I could find info about what happened. Maybe a mailing list so the administrator can notify all the members of these type of incidents.

They went around with a hubcap

something like 6 months ago, and in less than a week’s time, a number of members had chipped in enough to keep going for a year.
There was a topic dedicated to that, but it’s either gone, or I can’t find it.

On 2 occasions I wrote detailed explanations and each time I had either someone come in and comandeer the computer or the keyboard lock up on me, so gave up in disgust, but needless to say, I think most have realised it's all back now.
Basically, the time difference can cause a problem all round, because my 8am is your 6pm so you guys and us are going to bed and getting up at opposite ends of the clock.......problem #1
Next problem was by the time I had got the message across to your side, you had a holiday on your hands

.........problem #2
Then the company who we are involved with and who we have paid the fees to and who then kind of "subcontract" to us were away and uncontactable.......problem #3
Once contacted, it was then a case of having to contact the host company in the U.S. who were also having a public holiday...........problem #4
.................who then came back from holidays, threw the switch and.............we all lived happily ever after................I hope.

So there you have it.
