Drive shaft XM

The CV joint on my XM was well past its sell by date.
I rang around and found a shaft in a breakers that was delivered today. Its the (R) hand shaft so it has the inner joint in the middle.
The one I got from the breakers is the same overall length with the center bearing in the right place, However the inner Joint is smaller but the outside shaft is thicker. The number of teeth on the ABS wheel are the same and all splines are the same.
My car is the 2L turbo 1993 H/B
Do you think I will have any problems ???

Well I,m about to fit the shaft and no one has said I should not !

The CT has the same drive shafts as the V6 and diesels (thicker than the other 4-cyl petrol engines).
