There was a review in Diesel car a couple of months ago - not very informative, I got the feeling they hadn't actually driven it, and just regurgitated (very badly!) the official blurb. I used to get DC regularly, but the spelling and grammar errors are now so bad as to render it unreadable - and the content is questionable.

I keep looking to see if my local dealer has a C6 demo, but not yet.

V6 HDi......ME WANT!!!!!

I noticed the mondeo driver in that forum (second link) talk horse poo, he says the engines in the C6 are crap!... says a mondeo driver, who may even have the PSA developed TDCi engine, does he know what the 2.7 v6 HDI can do? And compared it against what BMW has to offer... the M5! Totally different cars, the M5 is a 500BHP supercar!

also the guy in the 1st link says it has hydractive IV which doesent even exist,it is still Hydractive 3+ but with AMVAR variable dampening control.

Only now you get to see the C6? God, i've put some photos here last May of the one Citroën has here! (and i sat on it!!!:D\:D/ )
Could that post have been deleted when the transition was made from andyspares?

Wheeler, is AMVAR the reason why the hydraulics have such huge diameter (around 10mm) high pressure pipes and the 2 extra spheres per axle? So long for the Activa...

Activa and Hydractive 2 also have large 10mm pipes - it's neccessary any time where there is a ride cushioning sphere connected at a great distance from the strut tops, otherwise flow rate restrictions in the pipe would cause a harsh ride...

The CX was the last hydraulic Citroen fitted with double wishbones ...

... which gave the hydraulic suspension the unparallelled comfortable suspension as a landmark for the CX.

yeah thats correct,theese thick pipes are on HA2 & HA3+.
The electrical conection on the strut is for the AMVAR system.
