Lucas EPIC Diagnostic Tool

Unread post by BonceChops »

Does anyone know of a diagnostic interface to laptop tool that will work on my Xantia 2.1TD with the Lucas EPIC system? I have a problem that I think is mainly due to air in the fuel but I would like to read any fault codes that might be present. I spoke to a supplier today and he could not say that it would definately work as they had not tested it on one.

AFAIK, OB diagnostics didn't become available on diesels until 2004.

It has the OBD connector and the Lucas EPIC saves fault codes that Citroen can read. Also you need to connect to the OBD connector to program the immobiliser to accept new keys.

What I had in mind when I wrote this was OBD that could be read with a DIY code reader.
