The paint code is stencilled onto the bulkhead in the engine bay - imagine it's drawn onto the engine bay wall level with where you're normally looking at the speedo!icedillon wrote:I'm sure its the Mk1 and it has a sportier bumper at the front with fogs, by the way its an exclusve model with an auto box. where do I find the paint code on these french cars?
It's a series of 4-5 white numbers and letters CR7YY or whatever [I've forgotten mine]
The giveaway if it's a Mk 2 is the grille being incorporated into the nose of the bonnet!!

yes it is leather but I'm afraid thats gone! will let you all know tomorrow about mk1 or mk2. It had eletric leather seats. Does anybody know if any of them are heated?
BUT, this may clarify as I have had a xantia HDI W/2000 reg and the front of that was sharper - more pointy at the end of the bonnet. Does that help?
Will let you know about the paint code tomorrow

Hello,
If it has a huge grab rail in the dash infront of the passenger seat, it's mk 1. If it has a no rail and a passenger airbag, it's mk2.
Hope this helps,
Rob

A mute point, but the VSX and the Exclusive were available in both Series 1 & Series 2. and no they arent the same.deian wrote:another guess from me: I'd say yes it is leather too, being an exclusive and a V6,
OH HOLD ON, a vsx AND exclusive? aren't they the same thing, vsx on mark1 and exclusive on mark2? i still think it's a mark2 being an exclusive and 1998
