Megane - room inside for skis?

Hi,

Sorry for the non-techanical nature of this - I normally post about problems with my Pug 205 but it's been running like a dream.

Anyway, I have a rental set up for my holiday and was wondering if anyone knows whether a pair of skis might fit inside the cabin of one of those "shakin that a$$" Meganes? Would rather not fork out for a ski rack...

Got the old model Megane. It's a soft top and it has a boot but with a 'ski' hatch. Now I got a couple of 6' fence poles' in last summer so I'd of thought the new shape would have been bigger. The one's I drive at work feel bigger. Hope this helps.
