This has been repaired by a bosch specialist and is fine !
The problem is now that it fired up once ran and died again , there is an auto electrician scratching his head at the problem.
There are no fault codes showing up
Any ideas
I understand that crap in the tank can damage pumps, but my question would be why have a fuel filter that does not filter the fuel properly?ACTIVE8 wrote:The high pressure pump in a HDI engine works under such extreme pressures, and therefore has to be very well made to deal with the pressures. The pump is very sensitive, and has to have clean fuel supplied to it. If it pumps any poor quality, or contaminated fuel it will damage it. The diesel also lubricates, and cools the pump, and the rest of the common rail injection system.
