1198 Xantia estate. Front suspension.

Should it always go down each time ytou leave car etc. I thought it stays up for 24 hours etc????

What is the basic guide to how it should work and what shouldnt happen!!

From 1994 all Xantias have the twin outlet pump, no flow divider valve and anti-sink. When its working correctly the car should stay at more or less the driving position for several days. There are additional spheres in the anti-sink circuit but they don't affect the anti-sink properties but in fact compensate for a drop in pressure when the valves open on startup.

I also find that even after 20 miles etc, I Can be at traffic lights and notice the front end going up a bit...

Can anyone describe the fully working way a suspension should work and what to look out for as it starts to go wrong.
