Xantia : steering wheel control Nightmare !

managed to remove stereo and pop down to TCR in London to buy a fancy Pioneer6700 CD/Tuner and the Autoleads PC 99-X09 Citroen adaptor.

Now it all works.............. except for the steering wheel control !! The main reason why a bought a new system was to use these steering wheel control buttons. (AKA: nightrider !!)

After a bit of a search here and on the net. It seems that Autoleads dont realy make a working lead for a 1998 Xantia. They say they do.. But they have also been quoted as saying it does not work !!

has anyone managed to get a Pioneer working with the steeering wheel control??

I have found a company called "Nexxia:"(www.nexxia.co.uk ) These guys seem to have a fantastic web site with great information. It tells me I also have to buy a PC99-POI cable as well !! Now how come 4 huge car hifi shops didnt tell me that ???

Ok.. "Autoleads" have just told me that they no longer realy produce steering wheel control adaptors for pioneer. Seems Pioneer have joined in and sell their own!! Mine works except for Track/search back.

bet th ePioneer one costs a bomb !!
